Purpose:  This event is a therapy dog visit (with their handlers) where the Reading with Rover teams are available to students during finals study breaks.  Finals week can be a stressful time and our Reading with Rover teams provide a positive outlet for the students.

You guys have done such a spectacular job during our last visit to Seattle University we have been asked to come back!!  This is the biggest compliment to our teams who have participated in the past. The students need our canine comfort as they study for finals.  As you all know, spending time with our dogs provides a brief break in their daily lives, brings a smile to their face AND it also helps them retain a greater percentage of what they are studying – so we are helping them get better grades.
Important Info:  This is a complex setting as emotions are high.   Only experienced teams for this event.
